Our queen bee colonies are bred from over-wintered bees locally in NY. We create queens and nucleus colonies from colonies that have balanced personalities, to ensure strong, robust hives that can thrive in your environment, helping you achieve optimal honey production. We provide guidance on care and integration to ensure successful bee farming.

Raw Honey Sales and Hive Products
At Golden Egg Apiary, we offer raw, unfiltered honey sourced from our own hives. This honey is rich in nutrients and wonderful flavor, perfect for enhancing your culinary creations or for daily consumption. Our honey is carefully harvested to maintain its unique taste and health benefits, providing you with the finest quality.
We also produce moisturizing salves and soaps made with honey or wax.

Beekeeping Consultation
Our beekeeping consultation services are designed to assist new beekeepers. Whether you’re starting your first hive or looking to get re-established, we will provide guidance, tell you what works for us, and then let you decide your beekeeping journey. We’ll help you understand the nuances of hive maintenance, pest management, honey extraction, and inform you of different options. Our goal is to mentor, to help you be successful, but in the end you are responsible for your own bees.

How Our Services Operate
Place an Order for Honey
New York State limits honey sales to in person sales for hobbyists. This requirement works out for you to get to know your beekeeper. So send an email, arrange a sale, and we will be happy to accomodate you.
We also sell moisturizing salves and soaps made with honey or wax.
Buy bees,Receive Support
Please email your order to buy bees. The best time to order is January through May. We need time to create the new colonies and be sure they are established and healthy before finishing your purchase. Let us know any time of the year if you have queen issues or need help or advice.
